Anybody ever use these? I can't seem to find any re-loading data on them. The price is right for a box of 500 .40S&W but I don't know what or how much powder to use. Any info or links would be appreciated!

You should look for loading data for a lead bullet of the same bullet style and weight. You should not try to achieve the same muzzle velocities for a plated bullet as you can for a jacketed bullet.

+1. With the velocity of the .40, you should have no issues.

My hodgdon book says to use the same specs as lead. It says they are a very high quality bullet though. I have used them for match shooting. Worked great for me. I have used them for 380, 9mm, 38, 40. No problems with any of them. They are nice for when the range does not allow lead.
Go here for hodgdon powder specs for all cartridges. http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp

I load the Berrys in my .40 with out any problems. It is recommended that you load them as you would a lead bullet. 3.5 grains of Clays is the max for the forty so I load 3.3 grains without a hitch. For an inexpensive bullet they are surprisingly accurate.

    Reduced Load

I use Berry's in a reduced load that gives my .40 the same power factor as a 9mm. Berry's 165gr FP over 4.1gr of TightGroup.

I load Berry's plated 200gr SWC almost exclussively for my 45 ACPs (at lead velocities)--great quality and never any issues.

I have loaded Berry's in 9MM (115Gr.FP+HP-124 Solid Base+Hollow Base) .40 FP, and .45acp. 200Gr. SWC. All with good results, using the upper lead specs, to lower jacketed specs. I like Hodgdon HS-6 and Alliant PowerPistol best for the 9MM and .45acp. loads. Hope this helps..Bill.:)

Berrys are very good bullets. I spoke to them. keep reloads to under 1200 fps.
I have shot thousands. no problems. needs a light crimp
