I intend to mount a Reflex sight on my 40 Cal Beretta PX. I'm hoping there are some Beretta fans here that have done the same. If yes, please let me know the type of mount used and any details or tips that might help.

64 years old with ageing eyesight I need all the help I can get. Lasers are fine for indoor ranges but pretty useless after 10 or so yards at the outdoor range I usually shoot at. At the recent Arizona G&F Outdoor Expo. I shot two Glocks with Reflex sights. Surprisingly I rang the all the targets and have been hung up on getting a Reflex sight on my PX since.

Mounting an optic on a berretta is possible but it isn't going to be very nice and hard to find a holster for. I also have a PX4 and am looking at doing the same thing to mine for the same reason as you. So far all my research tells me to live the berretta as is and ether get a M&P C.O.R.E. or a Glock 19 and have the slide milled for the optic I intend to use.

The Shape of the top of a PX4 slide makes mounting optics difficult.
