What are your thoughts about it
My wife has one. I've put about 50 rounds through it myself, and I like it. The quality and reliability seem to be exactly what one would expect from Beretta. With the extended mag, it even fits my larger than average hand quite comfortably. The long trigger pull takes a little getting used to, but other than that, I think it's a fine little gun.
I'm digging mine. I've got well over 600 rounds through mine with ONE failure that was when it was brand new with 115 grain. What worked for me was a break in with 124 grain. Now it eats everything I feed it. It's very well built and solid, conceals very well in my IWB hybrid as well as my Remora no clip holster. I can wear it all day with no issues. And it's the most naturally aiming subcompact pistol I have ever fired.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a sub compact semi auto striker fired pistol. You can't beat it IMO.
Can it fit in basketball shorts i wear that in the summer
. With a pocket holster, yes. I would think that if your whole hand can fit in the pocket, you could hide the Nano.
I've carried my nano with a remora no clip holster in gym shorts, sweat pants, pajama pants and my jeans. I'm a lefty so I carry at about 7:30-8 o'clock and it pretty much stays put with that remora holster. A pocket inside of cargo pants or cargo shorts? Yes but form me it's a bit too big for "pocket carry".
For true pocket carry, Beretta just released the Pico which is a true pocket pistol. It's a .380 and there is supposed to be a .32 conversion barrel coming out for it.
I love my Nano.By the way,if you have the 6 rd magazines, the Kahr PM9 extensions from Pierce Grips fits the Nano 6 round magazines.
they just replace the floorplate or attach to it?
I have a very early release of the Nano. My serial number is in the 1100 range and it has been a great gun. I used to shoot it weekly, about 50 rounds to stay comfortable. Of course over the lsat year that has dropped based on ammo availability. I never leave home without it as they say...
I really don't like the 8 round magazine design. It doesn't follow the lines of the the frame and breaks up my grip. Making it, to me, more awkward to shoot them over the 6 round mag.
Anyone else know what I mean?
I agree, the 8 rounder could have been shaped better. I don't know if I would use awkward, but I does feel like an after thought. Maybe they'll do a redesign on it (I hope)
You hit the nail on the head it's feels like an aftermarket part. It should feel like an extension of the grip and it just doesn't.
