My buddy offered me a Beretta 92 for $200, I'm not a huge fan but I figure I would be a fool to pass it up. What do y'all think? I'm thinking even if I don't like it I can trade it for something I do want, any input?

I wouldn't pass that up. Unless it is all but destroyed it is worth more than that.

If I don't keep it it'll be a trade gun. I figure I could get a used cz as an even trade

Wha??? A Beretta 92 for $200, don't ask anymore questions here and go get that thing. Don't see too many people on here writing about them, but I consider mine as well as my 1911 as my 2 best feeling semi auto's pistols in my hand.

The Beretta feels good? Your hands must be huge!

Not huge, normal to maybe bigger, to each his own, I love the feel of the beretta and don't find the grips bad in any dimension, but great.

    A Beretta 92 is a S***F gun...a CZ75 isn't. And that is a great price...jump on it.

What's bad about a cz 75. Its just as reliable and I have small hands so it feels a lot better to me.

At $200.00 I would think about running the serial number....

I am a 1911 guy, but I like the Beretta enough to have bought me one, and it is my second favorite handgun.

I know its clean, its registered in my buddy's dads name. He's a prominent business man so I wouldn't think anything bad would be attached to it

I don't think I could pass that deal up. Already own one, two would be just as sweet.

It's registered? What state do you live in?

Well registered in the sense of it was bought by his father so all the paper work and everything is in his name

I have tiny hands, and it feels good to me.

Still, USPs and 1911s are better

If the price is right, buy it. You can always use it as trade value for something else.

Agreed, I would EASILY pay x2 that for a 92fs in good condition.
