So, I was out shopping for either a 12 gauge or a .22 pistol, because both of those need to be added to my collection. Well, after handling numerous .22's I arrived at my last gun store and asked about an 870 defender type shotgun, basic deal, extended mag, bead site, etc.

The guy asked if I had seen the Benelli's and I said no. Well, he pretty much sold me on it right there. Same price as the remington, felt incredible in my hands. Light but sturdy, ghost ring sights, pistol grip. Easy to point, comfy to hold...pretty sweet shotgun.

So, what's the consensus on these? I tried doing some research online, people seem to like them, but does anyone own one? Your experiences?

    Thanks

The SuperNova is my shotgun (tactical) of choice. I did add a magazine extension to mine and a poly Stinger light because bad things tend to happen at night. I considered going the Nighthawk or Wilson Combat Scattergun route, but I have been well pleased with the SuperNova.

Congrats on the new shotgun. :D
Pics & a range report would be cool.
I'm not too keen on shotguns with a pistol handgrip, but that's just me.

Finally someone asks a question that I KNOW about! I have been a Benelli owner for 7 years now, and will be hard pressed to buy any other brand of shotgun. I use my supernova for duck hunting(even with the pistol grip), but I love it all the same. Good luck with your superb piece of equipment.

I was waiting for your reply....

I'd wheel it to, and I do...or...did or whatever.

399, cant go wrong with that. Even on gun broker the cheapest I can find is 460 for a new one. I guess the shop has em on special this week, marked down from 599 (woah, kinda high!) To 399. Had to snatch it up, even though I am literally out of money now, no joke.

    Dr. Marneaus,
    Awesome Benelli shotgun!!
Great deal, that's hard to pass up when you come across it.
    Nice collection!!
Too bad you have to sell one of your firearms.:(
The rifle on the bottom, above the handguns...is that a Marlin rifle?

Nope! It's a Henry. No lever action like a henry lever!

I dont HAVE to sell it, I rarely shoot it, even though I am in love with it. I just cant stand that it costs 50 cents every time i pull the trigger. I can always find a used mini14 though, hard to find a deal like that on a benelli any time soon.

It looked a lot like my Marlin 30/30 model 336, that's why I was asking.
    What caliber is your Henry?
