Hello to my friends! Been a while.

While I have been away I have not gotten anything new. Still only my 2 Kimbers. BUT...... my Kimber Custom II is on the trade block. I am looking at either a SS Beretta 92 or a Beretta 92 compact model L and it might happen as soon as tomorrow.

    Other than that nothing new

Don't trade. Just buy the new one you want.

I'm glad to see you back.

Hoss, its just Im a 2 hands, only need 2 guns type guy. I don't stock em up or collect em. That full size .45 aint doing me no good sitting there.

But dont worry I still have my ultra .45!

Hey buddy!! Long time no talk!

My .02 is to shop the seller around...A LOT...lousy time to try to sell anything right now and most people are going to try to get over on you...

I have a couple of poly-frames I was trying to turn into one steel frame but the bath I would have to take just isn't worth it to me...

    Welcome back...again!! :D

I'm not saying don't buy the Compact 92. I'm saying to buy it and not trade off another.

What the heck is wrong with you? I have three guns and I'm feeling deprived. I want more.

Dodger, good to hear from you.

The 92 is a great platform and 9 mm is a whole lot cheaper to practice with than .45 ACP.

From a SHTF perspective, I advocate having owning guns in all available calibers because you simply don't know what will be available so in my book 1 45 ACP and 1 9 mm is better than 2 45's.
While budget considerations ARE real for all of us, our sport is not always about "even money". It's about acquiring your wants/needs is a manner that tugs on the heart strings and spurs YOUR passion for the sport.

Good Luck on the trade. ;)

    Tack

DB you old friend, you really need to take a look at the Browning Hi Power if you want a 9mm.

    Nuff said.
