    My God, I should be sleeping!!

    Anyway, more bacon questions. What kind of bacon do you prefer? I like the Maple flavored bacon and I've also like Apple smoked bacon. Farmland brand has a really good Maple & Honey bacon. WOOT!!

    Tell me what you like. I'm going to bed and I'll be dreaming about bacon. :D

    For a real treat take 2 strips of crumbled up bacon and mix with your favorite homestyle vanilla ice cream. You'll punch your mother it's so good.

    Smithfield. From Smithfield VA. Hickory smoked THICK cut peppered, about 50/50 lean fat. Along with grits, farm eggs, hot biscuits with butter, apple butter, some home fries, and a handful of Simvastatin to control the cholesterol. :rolleyes:

    That is the only thing better than Smithfield ham.

    Wow, that is what I was going to say! Smithfield bacon. Or Gwaltney. Both made in Smithfield, VA :) I used to live in Smithfield, so maybe I am a bit biased...but those are the only types of bacon I keep in the fridge. I just had some for dinner, as a matter of fact...yummy...

    Smithfield ham is good, too, but I don't care for the picnic ham.

    Seriously, no turkey, tofu, veggie fake bacon allowed in my kitchen.

    Why do y'all think the meat processers keep having to recall the turkey burger? Its karma because they are trying pass off ground turkey as hamburger. :D

    Thick sliced bacon, wrapped around a jalapeno stuffed with bleu cheese, and grilled over charcoal and mesquite............ a little heaven on earth right there!

    My mom used to try to feed us Sizzlean, it's crap and nobody would eat it!

    Take a big ol' tiger shrimp and wrap a thick ol' slice of bacon around it, skewer it, throw it on the grill, repeat until you have a dozen, or two, put them on a plate, cover with shredded three cheese mixture, devour

    Maple bacon leaves distressing sticky gunk in my pan.:( Anything not porcine called bacon is blasphemy and calls for excommunication.:mad: I bought a Smithfield ham at Walmart, was the worst ham I ever had, will never buy another Smithfield product.:cool:

    I'm not real fond of peanut butter. I will eat a peanut butter and sorghum sandwich on occassion but not too often.


    Someone must carry on in his absence.

    Ick. I don't particularly like the sweet and salty combo.


    I'm going to have to try Smithfield bacon. And I never tried peppered bacon.

    Now that's the breakfast of champions. The only thing that would make it better is some corn pudding from Mary's Diner in Danville Virginia ;).
