I just bought this gun this past weekend. I haven't shot it yet but I'm already in love with it.

I was looking into one of those recently, found a good price on one but really didn't need another 45, anyway once you get some rounds down range let us know how it shoots

I have looked at them and really like the way they feel. They certainly look and feel well-built. Purchasing one is on my list, but it's down a few. Maybe in a couple of years lol

I love the feel of the gun. It's so comfortable even though it's on the heavier side. The grip has got to be the most comfortable I've felt.

The gun is heavy but balanced so well that the weight doesn't bother me at all. It actually feels really good when I am holding it. I plan on carrying concealed with this gun so really the weight isn't an issue.

My buddy had one in .40s&w and it was nice while it lasted. He owned it for a few years and maybe had 500rds through it. One day while we were at the range after about 20 or so rounds the gun decided to basically explode right in his face. He pulled the trigger gun went bang and off came the slide and hit him in the face and I got hit with firing pin while standing in the slot next to him. There was nothing jammed in te chamber or anything like that, the gun simply broke. He had a smith fix it for him then traded it on a new XDM.

Other than that I thought it was a nice gun. Kinda on the heavy side though

I think I'd own one if they made rubber grip panels for the gun. I've looked at them many, many, many times

Good for you for stepping out of the box. I haven’t owned one but I have the gun these are based off of. These are essentially CZ75 based guns. I don’t know about the poly frame offerings but the steel frame versions are very reliable and durable......as far as the weight, I just find it sad and comical that grown men complain about an extra few oz's...be proud of your choice and be proud you’re not a sheep! Here is a newer version of the gun yours is based off of, it is oh so heavy but I manage lol

I finally went to the range and I have to say I am so happy with this gun. The recoil is minimal and the accuracy is spot on. I also own a desert eagle .50 AE and the accuracy of that gun can't be topped.
The baby eagle doesn't disappoint at all and the the weight keeps it from feeling like a toy gun. I don't like polymer guns to much. I want to feel steel in my hands. I am looking forward to the next trip to the gun range.

Glad you like it. It looks huge but the one I held was quite nice. I don't care for plastic either.

I believe weight is an issue with a conceal and carry.

That is definitely not a pistol for CC in Vegas (if that's where you currently reside)... I'd use it here in northern Utah in sweater weather or worse though. They wouldn't be too bad for a shoulder holster though. They really aren't as heavy as they look, but they are kinda ungainly...
