Awesome New Action

Anyone seen this new offering from Badger Ordnance?

Wow! What a great design. 6 locking lugs. 60 degree bolt throw. One serious lock up when closed. No way is this baby blowing up on you.

Remington compatible, it will take any drop in trigger and fits all Remington stocks including the AICS from Accuracy International. McMillian and Manners are both producing custom stocks for it, as well as H-S Precision expected before the end of the year.

It's a limited production run - but if it takes off, they will be bulk producing the action next year in both short and long action variants.

What do you guys think?

It's a beautiful action - but I don't see a recoil lug. Is it like the Rem. 710 where the recoil lug is sandwiched between the barrel and receiver? It's a bit pricey at $980...but if a complete rifle using this action can be made for around $1500 it would be a good deal.
I wish I had the money to play that game! That's an impressive bolt design. I am looking at an article about the new SAKO A7 in .308. It has a notch under the receiver that engages a recoil lug embedded in the polymer stock. I was just wondering if the Badger receiver had the same set-up since the drawing doesn't show a recoil lug, but if that action is meant for a standard Remington wood stock, I don't think that would be possible. I guess it doesn't matter much anyway since I can't afford one!
