Anyone ever shoot an American spirit arms rifle? I read about it in guns mag, it looks like a damn fine piece of machinery. It was holding one inch groups with iron sights at 100 yards , using different 55 grain factory loads. I've never heard of them before reading this. Hmmm....

Have seen the ads and a review in that special AR-15 mag that's still on newstands for another week or so. Personally I'd be wary without lots of raving reviews (and not just from gun rags) especially since there are so many known-to-be-good ARs out there already.

I don't read magazines. Is there a link to the article?

Re-reading the article now which I must say is pretty good. For the use the reviewer Greg Rodriguez specified - a ranch rifle, this looks pretty darn good. Rodriguez is a cut above the average rag mag hack out there too.

Amazing to get that kind of accuracy from a 7lb AR, I'm wondering with that bull barrel if that weight is correct.

Thanks for the link Q. I read through it (skimmed) and the reviewer seems to like it.

Tested the retail was at like 2300$ which had an accuracy guarantee of half inch. I think the 1200$ offered a one inch guarantee. That impressed me along with looks, and the described overall feel, fit and finish. If only I had more play money...

That's KAC money there. I'd rather have the Knights. That's a lot of money to gamble with.

Well that changes the game quite a bit. I didn't read the article closely so didn't see that. A RRA will guarantee 1MOA cheaper than $1200. And I still don't believe the claimed 7lb weight with almost a 1" bull barrel. Still an interesting gun but I wouldn't take a chance on it when there are more established brands. Sad, I know it's tough for new brands, some very good, but who wants to be first and chance taking the arrows.

Maybe you can google more articles/reviews, I just linked that one because it was the one I looked through almost a year ago.
