This is a Ruger Blackhawk .45. Thought I'd post it next to my Glock 19 so you can see the difference in barrel length.
Sir! That borders on blasphemy! Posing and photographing a Ruger in the same shot with a Glock! Bob Wright
Espechially a Blackhawk in .45 Clot. That is an American Classic. Kind of like putting a 64 Mustang or 57 Corvette next to a Yugo or a Kia.
Haha That's awesome you guys I'm glad everyone around here has a sense of humor.....u were kidding right?
Right. Sort of. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool sixgun man, have been for nearly sixty years. My ideal is case hardened, blued, 4 3/4" barrel, ivory, stag, or fancy wood grips, in .44 or .45 caliber. You like an autoshucker, fine with me. But, deviate from my ideal, and I'll fling a literary barb or two your way. Expect the same from you. Bob Wright
Recently my sister and I divided up my father's estate that included two revolvers;a 357 Smith & Wesson Trooper and the Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt, Basically my sister wanted to keep the "little one". I think they're both really nice guns but in my opinion the Blackhawk is the more interesting and in general has beautiful looks. I think I got the better of the deal, What would you say? I know S&W has a long rich history but something about that Colt screams old west I guess it wasn't produced till the 50's tho.
