I built an ar15 from a stripped lower here in California. Do I have to register it?

Nope, when you purchased it, you already done all the paperworks you need to. Even if you built it from scratch, you still don't need to do anything. Just keep it legal. No fun stuff like automatics, sbrs or suppressors, unless you get it from the government.

Yes it has a bullet button. I have already built it and was just told I would have to register it.

Nope, no registration. But I'm just a guy on the internet so you should probably check the gov's websites.

new laws are being pushed threw Kommiefornia.

Unfortunately if they do pass we will be screwed and have to register them.

Fortunately they have not passed as of yet.

    I hate them all.

Goto Calguns.net and read up on them and join the fight.

It'd be nice to see all the gun owners in Cali refuse to register their guns if (when) the new laws go through. Only problem is you'd never be able to take the unregistered guns out in public for fear of confiscation/arrest. There's power in numbers but the question is what would you do when you get singled out and harassed?

I just bought a lower in California and I'm still waiting for the ten days to pass but I talked to them aboitthisvery questiin and they told me that as long as you keep it legal, no silencers, no more then 10 round magazines and the California mag release your good. I don't remember about a bayonet lug but you might want to check on that one. I bought a Franlin Armory lower and it doesn't even have the caliber on it. It jist says multi caliber. But the only swrial number for the Ar15 is on the lower. Thats what thwy look at as far as registration.

If I could only have an AR with a 10 round mag, and a bullet button, I would not bother.:(

Well you get used to it. Out here you practice one shot one kill. We can't spray and pray we hit something. Plus we,ve learned that you don't shoot up as much ammo this way. We also learnes that we get really good at changing magazine with nail and screws lol
