Nine years ago today, we learned what radical Islam is capable of doing on American soil. Never forget the debt we owe these bastards!

People round the world will be thinking of the USA today.

I remember the disbelieving shock I felt when the live feeds from NY came through on the late news...we're with you guys in spirit.

Today my flag flies for those who lost their lives and for the one's who carry the scars on their bodies and pain within.

I was in Korea when the towers got hit and I can still remember the phone call from another guy on my crew, conversation we had as we watched the news feeds come in.

It was literally the "where were you" moment of my generation and what an awful, dispicable, cowardly way of starting a war that will never end.

Islam may have peaceful people who practice it, but there is no peaceful Islam.

Remember those that lost their lives and those that live with the scars.

I was on watch in the control center when we heard about the first plane into the towers. Speculation was that it was an accident.

15 minutes later we were scrambling to get aircraft on the ground, and the rest of the day was a somber blur.

May those who lost their lives needlessly rest in peace.

May those who gave their lives to help others in need rest in peace.

All are remembered, we will never forget!!

Amazing that it has been almost a decade. I remember my roomate busting in and dragging me out of bed to see the second plane hit like it was yesterday.

Here's to those that were lost that day and those that have fallen while protecting us in the wars to follow. Never forget.

It's just a beer commercial, but it speaks volumes on this day. It only aired once on national TV.
