I don't know if there's a better term for what I want, not necessarily one of those stupid credit card-shaped knives. I need something that's thin enough to stash unnoticeabley in my wallet or back pocket that can serve as a back-up knife or a knife that I can pack on me in places that would freak out at my fatass Benchmade. It also needs to be able to be open exactly like you would a normal knife, just a flick of the hand and be done with it.

Only thing that I can think of would be a SOG Access Card , but IDK if I trust SOG ever since the tip snapped off of my Trident after like.....a month.

In my opinion SOG makes a good product for the most part. Lot of tipless tridents out there but something tells me its often user error of some sort that results in that. What were you doing to break the tip? What's the purpose of the credit card knife? Concealed carry without drawing attention? Can't carry a knife at work? Want to keep the wife from running off with your visa and going shoe crazy?

They sell one on Amazon. Free freight from Tim buck too. Couple bucks. I forward them as gifts.

Back up knife, in you wallet?

Let me get this straight, you are in a deadly altercation, you have lost your first line of defense so you are going to your billfold to retrieve your back-up weapon. Hmmmm.... and what is your assailant doing in the meanwhile? Are you going to call time out?

In the middle east, in not so friendly countries, terrorist organizations teach that a visa type card can be used as something just as deadly as a box cutter.
Just by 'filing' down one edge on cement can turn that card into a 4 inch blade, and undetectable in airport screening.
Maybe Hotfudge isn't looking for a 'defensive' knife? ;)

If he is being robbed, he will likely have his wallet out anyway. ;)
The opportunity and ability to retrieve and open an unconventional knife are improbable. :(

Are you wanting a back up to use as a tool, or a weapon? I can't recommend a credit card knife for either. If you just want something to cut with, I used to carry a single edged razor blade in my wallet. The danger of this, or anything carried in your wallet, is carrying it through a metal detector at the airport or anyplace that it might be prohibited.

If you want an unnoticed weapon, consider a neck knife.

I don't know about credit cards knives at all but maybe this is something that will help form an idea of what you would want. Do a little search for custom credit card knives.
