Anyone near Columbus with a Chrono?
I am curious to see what my AR is actually getting for velocity, and can't seem to find much out there on the net from research other than "depends on ammo, barrel length, atmospheric conditions, etc"
I'm not looking to do any tack driving at 500 yards, but wouldn't mind having a rough idea of what mine is shooting, so I can guesstimate how my zero changes (bullet drop) from 100 to 500 yards. Since I don't plan on getting high tech and customizing my own hand loads, I really only want to use a chronograph once, which means it's not really cost effective to buy one for a one time use.
so, anyone around that has one I could borrow? or come to you and shoot a few rounds through it?
