And where I can get one.
Looks like Extrema Ratio product. I think it's a discontinued model, but google the brand to see who carries them. Knifeworks.com used to carry them.
Thanks. I check it out.
I've been poking around and it seems I'm only coming across knockoffs. I didn't have any info to go on other than picture.
You nailed it possum.
Unfortunately I sh!t myself when I saw the price tag. It is a beautiful piece of hardware but I'll have to go for a gun over a knife. Lol
They're not cheap.
If you haven't been there already, check out www.machetespecialist.com. A lot of good blades over there, most at reasonable prices.
Will do. Thanks again.
I think Possum is turning into our resident knife expert.
There is "Some" stuff in the BUD K catalog that while less expensive,..seems to be made well. I can really do some damage in teh Catalog with $100 free on my CC..........
Speaking of which,..Gil & Wesley Hibben make a lot of stuff for BUD K to sell....including the "Expendables" line of Knifes that certain actors used in the two movies...I also understand they made one for Bradley Cooper to carry in the upcoming Movie
"American Sniper" about Navy Seal Chris Kyle......
Also met a Nice Older gentleman(a Vet, & a Native American) at an art show Saturday, doing both his own stuff from scratch, and "decorating" already built Knifes....HE doesn't take CC's or else I'd have dropped said $100 on a few of his creations....when i obtain one pics will be posted...he does a lot of good work with Stag/Bone Grips,...and also fine woods, and Hand made leather sheaths.....
Meh, it's new and already bent out of shape, and the blade appears taped together.
If you think it looks rough now, you should see the price tag. It takes alot to make my turd cutter pucker. Lol
Just get a bunch of cold steel kukri machetes and treat them like disposable razors.
NONE of the Hibben knives in the Bud K catalog are made by the Hibbens.
Gil learned years ago that he could whore himself out designing "fantasy" knives with his name on them, and allowing them to be made in China.
