Sorry, bro- you are going to need a DeLorean with a flux capacitor. About a year ago I was loaning 9mm ammo TO my local gun shop- I had more than they did.

It has gotten better, but supplies can still be spotty. There are a number of search programs you can use- here's one-

Slick Guns had a couple listing's for 1000 rounds for around $230-$250, cheapest I've seen.

My advice.... Set yourself up with a Gunbot account ( www.gunbot.net ) and check whenever possible. Recommend you hit it up at least twice daily.. (they upgraded stocks from vendors at least hourly)... and when you find something jump on it quickly.
Good luck pard'... I feel for you.

Ide love to reload, but i just dont have the time. I work 58hrs a week and the last think i wanna worry about is making my own ammo, ide rather just buy.

I stop that a long time ago! I reload every thing I shoot. I buy ahead so I do not run out!

What is a basement? I have heard of them. Someone told me it was like a room under the house, here in Charleston, we call it crawl space!:D

I can't believe this is still going on. You would think ammo companies would have expanded their operations by now and be running full tilt production 7 days a week to get it while it's hot. Try ammodepot.com

Ammo is just like it always has been. You find ammo at a great price and it is gone in short order. If you are saving enough per box on ammo it won't hurt to have a balance on a credit card for a month or two. What does it matter when you will be paying Walmart more for some cheapo ammo all summer?

I have to disagree with the ammo being like it's always been. I use to be able to go to any store that carried ammunition and buy whatever I wanted in bulk, no limit. Now it's always hit or miss or 2 box limit. Let's not even talk .22lr. The only places that have ammo consistently that I see is the big box store. It is slowly but surely getting better but it's nowhere near what it used to be

They had to build new the get it set up with new equipment. This takes a long tine. They should have them on line about September if all goes good.
