I have a mak90 that was converted with a 56s-2 side folder . Riveted to the receiver . Real cool piece. But the rear sling mount D ring is missing and Ive been looking for literally years and I cant find it anywhere.

I tried to find a close up but failed. Its a standard d ring that snaps onto top and bottom recesses on the folding mechanism . Pretty standard .

So yea . if anyone knows where I can find one it would be greatly appreciated .

just buy a AK sling and take that "D" ring off put in a vise and flatten the roundness a bit and voilà! your sling attachment :D

    Some possibilities ...

@ GunAuction, search for "AK sling" -- https://classic.gunauction.com/search/auctions.aspx

@ RTG Parts, double carabiner sling AK -- https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/AK-DOUBLE-CARABINER-SLING-HOOK-p1555.htm

    @ eBay, AK sling parts -- https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hook-25mm-...lides-Sling-Rifle-Webbing-Strap-/263196992335

And then, you could just buy a D-ring of your choice that'll fill the space, if you're not too particular about "factory-spec" variants. Something like this: https://www.mfrexpress.com/d-ring/1246-1-2-bolt-on-d-ring-with-clip-forged.html

yeah, pretty much there is no standard "D" ring to those folding stocks.....so however you want to shape it's up to you

Hey I appreciate the replies. I've been looking for years . I didnt think a simple D ring would so hard to find . I can make one I guess but I was just hoping to find a proper 56s-2 D ring . No worries. Thanks again .
