Anyone Know What This Is

    Anyone know what this is?
    I know it's a .38 cal, short
    It has a sn: U7321

    It has many marks on it. near the cylinder it has

    .38 767 3.5 TONS.

    TOTAL, ABSOLUTE stab in the dark- a British revolver, in 38 S&W. The Brits called the round the 38/200, since it used a REALLY BIG 200 grain bullet. The "tons" marking was a British proof marking, IIRC. Pictures would help a LOT. Along with a description.

    +1 on a Brit something. Webley, Enfield, ????? Are any of the "many marks"
    a name or model number?
