243. 257. 7mm 260. Or a 270.?
I have a Remington 700 in 223. It is accurate and a joy to shoot. I use it for coyotes. It is good for out to 250 yards. I just haven't had a chance to take a dog any further. Why are you asking?
Pretty broad stroke. 7mm??? .260 is 6.5, so again, ??? Some are short action, some standard, some magnum.
my uncle has the .243, .257, and 7mm. ive shot two of them. .243, 7mm. the .257 is a newer purchase
all and more! at one time another. what is your point? are you looking for suggestions for a particular caliber?
I have & 7mm STW does that count ?????

Having dozens and dozens of calibers is fun, but if there ever was a true SHTF scenario, wouldn't it be great if we had all standardized on .223,.308 and 9MM so that everyone's ammo would fit everyone else's weapon?
I have at least 20 calibers in my safe, but in all honesty, .22 LR, .223,.308, .375 H&H and 9MM would cover me for any situation anywhere in the world.
No just curious. I got these guns in twos for hunting bull elk. I'm 15 yet but my day will come to learn more about guns and ammunition.
