Let's see if there is any interest in a photo thread for tractors. Start out by telling how much acreage you have, what you do with it, and what tractor(s) you have.

I'll start out. I have 6 acres with about 2.5 of yard and the rest is woods. I've thinned the woods out to be nice and open and now I just maintain it with a 4ft brush hog. I also have a grader blade with homemade sides that can be bolted on to make it a DIY box blade. I use that to grade my gravel driveway. I first had a John Deere 750 and recently sold it. I upgraded to a brand new LS J2023 with a front bucket and hydro tranny.

    Here was my JD 750.

And here is my new LS.

I love tractors. Great idea for a fhread btw. I had a lttle Kubota 22hp with a front end loader, small bush hog, belly mower and box blade. I miss that little tractor. It made quick work of my hilly lawn when I lived in Missouri.

I have 50 acres. Of that about half is tillable. I'm in need of a bigger tractor. I only have a JD 318. I'll try to find a pic.

Well I no longer live on farms. Sadly.

In Missouri we had 80 acres, cattle, timber, and hay. Dad used a '39 Case. It was a trike front end, dad put a wide axle on the front for stability. Used to pull hay wagon, seeder/fertilizer spreader, 6 ft bush hog.

In Kentucky I lived on a 46 acre horse farm. Worked on two others.

Our tractors were two small kubota 28hp diesels with the hyrdo Trans. Used them to mow the yards and roadways. Great little tractors.

The "big" tractor was a ford 4600. Pulled a trailers, muck spreader, and a 10' mower. Tractor was junk.

Other farm that was 75 acre horse farm I used a old john deere 2355 to pull a muck spreader and a 15' mower and 25' chain harrow. That was a great tractor. Miss it to this day.

Other farm was a 125 acre horse farm used a 4610 ford that was junk and a ford 6610. That was a lot nicer tractor but very very tippy. Tall tractor. I'm 6'2"the tires were taller than me. Just pulled a muck spreader and 10'mower there.

Three old tractors came with some land i bought. One is a Farmall M with wide front end and dual wheels, it's a good tractor. This little Mitusbishi is my game plot tractor:

I grew up on a 600 acre corn farm we had so many tractors it wasn't funny we had a Massey combine with a 12 row header for harvesting and a few john deere utility tractors for all sorts of things a spraycoupe for fertilizing and the big monster Steiger that looked like this for discing and plowing plus we had a huge blade plow for it and used it to snowplow Stewart airport in the winter ImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1396365570.752253.jpg

I work with some fellas who work on big farms down south in their off time. Some of that equipment is HUGE! I go to the ag show in louisville when I can just to marvel at the size of the tractors.

Nothing is as big as the equipment we used to use at the quarry I worked at iirc the terex dump haulers could carry 900 tons of stone

Lotta members from Missouri! That's where I'm from too. My family has a pretty good sized row crop farm. I was driving a tractor before I could reach the clutch pedal. I'd have to stand up to stomp the clutch.

Dad just bought this new tractor a couple weeks ago. He likes to one-up me.

We have 46 acres here and its all woods except for the yard and range. We have 2 acres in North Carolina on Cowee Mountain and its about half woods and yard with a small catfish pond. I use my tractor for whatever comes up. The last thing I did with it was use the loader to lift a new well house onto the well. I have a bush hog, box scrape, harrow, all purpose plow, post hole auger and a 5' tiller that runs off the PTO.

That brings back memories. My grandpa had a 730 electric start and I used it to rake hay in the summers.

Heck yeah it does. We have a lot of those that fly off our air strip.
