With the defense craze out there, I have a couple of friends that bought .380's for carry purpose. I know-too small a caliber, but that's what they got. I knocked the dust off of my .380 dies today and put together a couple of boxes of 95gr. FMJ loads that I had Rem. .355" bullets for. Used 2.5gr. of TiteGroup, for approx. 895fps. These were seated to .900". That's all of my stock of light wt. .355 bullets. With the Indy 1500 Gun Show coming up, any suggestions of a low cost bullet that can be bought in bulk, that I can load up to close duplication of factory carry loads, would be appreciated. I ONLY carry factory defense loads, due to the Lawyer Factor, and have my friends do the same. These loads are labeled TARGET LOADS ONLY! Thanks in advance!:D PS. I have a pretty good stock of handgun powders-Unique-WW231-WW296-HP-38-PowerPistol-TiteGroup-Bullseye-AA#2,5,7+use WW-SP primers.

For my .380's I load 4.7 grains power pistol and Speer 90 Gold dot HP. Power Pistol has a lot of flash as it has no flash retarder. I'm working up a load using the same bullet and Accurate #5. Very low flash, very clean and meters well. I'll let you know when I settle on a load.
