Just curious if there's any Asians here?
    And where you from?
    I'm Korean myself
But born and raised right here in America
    :D
Don't know too many Asian friends who are into guns or own them...

I have some fond memories of Korea. I remember first getting off the plane and feeling like I was hit in the chest with a sledgehammer! It was SO hot and it was SO humid. I had been all over the US and NEVER felt anything like that.

I remember the Korean people were very friendly and always accommodating, not matter the clothes, or uniform, I was wearing at the time. :D

Do you still have family there?

    yeah
the weather over there are in the extremes
crazy hot and humid in the summer and crazy amounts of snow in the winter that my grandparents get stuck in their house for almost a week every year

I too remember the people there being very friendly
I specifically remember being completely lost and a complete stranger walked me at least a mile back to the house

yes everyone on my mother's side still lives in Korea

Were you on service/stationed in Korea?
Two of my uncles are actually American Korean War vets

I spent some time working for the US Military stationed in & throughout S. Korea. I was all over the country. Cheju was by far one of my favorite stops though. Beautiful water and that volcano, I can't remember the name, is one hell of a hike that damn near killed me, but it was beautiful when we got to the stop and were able to look around.

Yong In Valley had some of the best bul-go-gi (sp? ) my entire time in the country. Little, tiny, 4 table, almost a shack, on this side dirt road just about a cliq off the base there. All the guys used to rave about it, so we had to go there one night for dinner. Cherry Soju was the drink of the night and I ate so much bul-go-gi I thought I was going to turn into a cow... LOL

Good times. Great views. Amazing Buddhist Temples, especially up near the DMZ.

If you get a chance to go back junho, I would definitely take it.

    very cool
i find that most koreans have the utmost respect and admiration for Americans especially because of what we did in the Korean War
and yes you spelled "fire meat" (aka bulgogi) correctly
i plan on going back this summer and i'm very excited
    :D

    hahaha
    actually...
in an interview she was asked what she would be if she wasn't a singer/performer and she replied that she'd be a soldier and wanted to shoot guns
one of the many reasons why i like her

I have a couple of friends that attend Baylor University that are of Asian descent. Chinese, I believe. Both very American and very into guns. I work with a guy from Cambodia. Between guns and Martial arts he keeps himself busy.
We don't discriminate here. All gun lovers welcome. Even those wanting to learn.

I just met a real nice Asian fella at the local gunshop/range. He was trying out a bunch of rentals. Poor bastard lived in LA for 15 years with no problems, then he opened a restaraunt in Durham NC and within 3 months was held up at gun point:(. Came right over, took his CCW class, and started shopping for a handgun. Left with a Sig 239 I believe.
