Alrighty then. Started working on reloading .35 Rem. 200 grain jacketed soft point bullets. IMR 4895 is the powder i have/plan to use. Once again all i saw was 4895...didnt notice in my manual it was H4895 instead of IMR 4895 listed. According to the IMR data website, they give a load for IMR4895 but ONLY a max load @ 36.5 gr. This is for a Hornady 200 gr RN. ( When working up loads i figure the weight is what is important and not the style of bullet) For the Hogdon powder, the H4895 it gives a starting load of 35 gr and max of 38.5. I my manual (Lyman 48th) its gives a starting load of 34 gr. I was planning on loading my .35 Rem. 200 gr JSP rounds with 35 gr of IMR 4895...will this be acceptable in the minds of the wealth of knowledge here?? I made this mistake before with my 44 mag....but after cross referencing i found that H4227 and IMR4227 w/ 240 gr JHP bullets, the load data is exact.
