Seems like there are several colorado shooters on this forum, so a bit about myself. I am an old guy, and celbraqted my 50th year as a life memeber of the NRA this year. I am retired and shoot mostly a couple of M1 Garands and my 1903's. I did win an AR-15 in a raffle so will be trying it out this summer. I got my first rifle when I was 9 so I have been shooting now a bit over 60 years.

I live in the mountains in a fairly isolated spot so I don't have to find a range, but I am at 9,750 feet so it is just now starting to warm up to where I can do some shooting.

Hi JakeInHartsel. Do you ever fish the South Platt? I live in Canon City and I fished at an area called Tomahawk a couple of times and sure liked it. I work for the prison system down here in Canon and I am one of a handful of firearms instructors for the department. Hartsel is a cool area. (Even down right cold at times, I understand.)
