It's now 21% to 78% "NO". I think what usually happens in these type of polls, is word gets out to the pro gun forums like this one. Then everyone and their brother goes to it and hits "NO". I say that because when they first come out they are somewhat more balanced. Then as the word spreads they shift heavily to "NO".

The same thing happened on "The View" poll. Most anyone who reads that website on a regular basis is a woman, and is liberal and anti gun. Yet the longer that poll remained, the more it swayed to "NO". With all of that said, I still think in a nationwide referendum another assault weapons ban would not pass. Polls by their very nature can be skewed one way or another. A gun control poll on Fox will be heavily pro gun, while the same poll on MSNBC will not.....Until all the pro gunners make the trip over to hit it. I think this is one of the reasons why Romney is much further ahead than the current polls show. Who are they actually polling? And how are they actually doing it?

A lot of people are paranoid about being politically correct, and or saying anything bad or negative about blacks. As a result they will say nothing bad about Hussein, and may even take it as far as saying they are going to vote for him....again. All to appease everyone around the water cooler. When they get into the voting booth, it will be a different story.
