Hi, i recently purchased an XD45 by Springfield. I like the fit of the gun in my hand very much. I haven't done much shooting in a while, but it put all 13 in about a pie plate sized pattern at 20 paces on the first clip. That seems good enough for home defense, for me. It does have the "tactical" barrel; my eyes aren't what they once were, figured i'd go with the geezer barrel. I also want to pick up a "riot gun" type shotgun; i'm thinking mossberg with the 8 shot. Laser targeting on the XD is also a priority.

I find myself wondering how many peeps on this forum don't eat meat; i'm thinking that might be a rarity. I gave it up in high school due to losing my taste for it (no, i'm not a PETA person). I lost interest in hunting after that. I do eat sushi occasionally, so maybe i'll try shooting some fish in a barrel. I would like to thank any deer hunters on here for killing off the darn jaywalkers; i hate those things.

Oh, the name is my cat's, i use it online. The cat is mostly orange & quite rotund.

You won't find many non-meat eaters around here! Most all will help you out though. Moss. good choice. I have a 500A that I have field-deer+riot barrels for. Now has the riot with pistol grip, for house gun, due to deer season over+ too cold to rabbit hunt HA-HA! Welcome again

Do you think, Love, that we will see another ICE AGE? Hell, Uncle Al (Gore) says that the earth has warmed .07 of 1 o F. in the last 2-4K years? I think that my Colt Govt. MK-4 will still operate, with the proper teflon lube, for my lifetime!!
