A lot of the time I'm either on the backside of our place making sure no one is hunting without permission or rambling around on some of the National Forest around here and I like to have something with me just in case. I'm not worried about any of the wildlife unless it walks on two legs. I have never really had any trouble but I have walked up on a couple of pot patches and more than a few stills so would rather be safe than sorry. I wasn't concerned with concealed carry as much as just having something but not in your face so to speak. I say this holster in a magazine so I called Sam and had him make one up for me for the 1911 cocked and locked. I also had him include the knife sheath on the right side. You can take it off if you like but he has to put the snaps on when he make the holster if you ever want to put it on. Its called the Monarch because of the shape of the harness. It doesn't clip to your pants and it works really well. Sorry about the butt ugly model but I couldn't get the wife to do it.
