Oh man, now *THIS* is how private businesses help citizens support the 2nd Amendment! Not Hiding behind silly policies there were only created to assuage liberal freedom hating gun grabbers...

no no, not that way, but by sending an open letter, a big SCREW YOU, to oppressive government intervention. Barrett Firearms will no longer sell their products to the State of California for Law Enforcement o r any other Government Agency based there.

Oh this is a great day. His letter will make you scream a very triumphant HELL YEAH!

I think it would go a long way if all firearms manufacturers stopped selling and servicing guns to all public agencies in California, Illinois, and New York. The gun stores too. Private sales only. As booming as gun sales have been lately, they wouldn't feel too much of a pinch on sales, but those governments might pull their heads out if their cops couldn't get guns, repairs, hell why not ammo as well!

I guess he better stop selling to the federal govt too as they banned full autos based on racism 80 years ago and then fully banned them under ronnie reagen in 1986... his timelime is off. The assault on the constitution has been going since 1938

Good post. When was that written? Politically Correct Charlie Beck has been LAPD chief for a few years now...

If the article is correct, it was written way back in 2005...wow I feel kind of silly for not noticing that first.

Anyways, it's still showing small business standing up to big government at any cost. I love it.

I've always thought highly of the Barrett Firearms company, but after reading this letter, my admiration could not be any greater.

I have the pleasure of knowing Ronnie. His plant in Murfreesboro is less than an hour from my home. Bottom line he is what he is, a true American and Gun Owner and everyday takes the stand that the Second Amendment is our Constitutional Right. He's like some of us does not believe it the Political Correct "BS"! And is not bashful about telling those in the USA who are continually attempting to take away our Constitutional Rights!
God Bless the true Patriots like Ronnie and some here on the FTF for standing for their rights to the end we will be willing to defend them. And the copy of the letter that Pork Chop posted here is exactly a copy of the letter sent to the State Government Officials in Socialistfornia!;)

When you see him - give him a firm handshake for me and tell him I said Thank you for using your position in this country to fight for the rights of the average American.

If more people went through life like him, people like Obama wouldn't stand a chance.

Damn, someone buy that man a beer.

We need someone like him to be President. Someone who would actually follow the Constitution.
