I had a question and was wondering if any one knew the answer to it. The AMT Automag V has all serial numbers as x of 3000. However, they never finished production. Does anyone know the final production number? Someone claimed to have the last one of 1978 of 3000. The reason I ask is because i have number 3000 of 3000. It was a special request and was one of the first built. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you!

Do not have a clue, but DO have a suggestion- drop an email to Mr. Jim Supica, c/o the National Firearms Museum there at the NRA HQ in VA. Mr. Supica is gentleman and a scholar, and has even graced us here with his presence to help with a very unusual gun question.

BTW, Jim is the curator of the National Firearms Museum.

Well from my research and talking with a couple collectors, I have come to the conclusion that the 1978th pistol was probably the last pistol. I have since listed the gun on gun broker. If anyone is interested or has any information to offer it would be appreciated.
