Waiting it all out is really the only option hopefully you bought some previous to all this wonderful BS. Before the newbies started panic buying anything they could get their hands on.

My nephew to me at his local WalMart, one of the employees told him that they're finding ammo hidden in different parts of the store now. The store has a 3 box per customer limit and he said when the higher sought after calibers like .223 or .22LR, etc. hits the shelves, folks are getting their 3 boxes and then "HIDING" other boxes of it in various other parts of the store for a later return visit just to make sure they got it.

At our Walmarts you have to pay for it at the sporting goods counter. Always been that way.

I've ordered from Cabela's, Midway and something like Target Shooter's Supply. I just keep checking the different sites. I haven't found the "popular" brands like CCI, Remington, etc. Instead, Cabela's had Sellor and Belliot (sp?) in 9 mm so I got 4 boxes and they were allowing backorders on a 300 rnd bucket of a different brand which is supposed to be in by March. At the Target Supply place I found Augila (sp?) Extra High Velocity 22 lr for $3.50/100 so I ordered 10 boxes.
It's out there if you look and are willing to pay shipping and willing to settle for other than your regular brand. Mostly I've been looking and not finding though. I have spent about $200 on other accessories like Snap-caps and cleaning stuff that I came across while looking for ammo. LOL
This is killing me since I've only just bought my first semi-auto and am really finding it hard--and expensive--to find any ammo to shoot. My CHL class is tomorrow and I've only been to the range once with this pistol.

Bulkammo.com once again has just listed they have 35 lots of 1000 each Federal .223 available this afternoon if you're willing to fork out the $919.00 for it.
It goes pretty fast.

That shiat is unbelievable. Bulkammo and Luckygunner are selling out with prices at roughly $1 a round per 1000 case!
You can buy in the secondary market for about $700 a case. Why would anyone support those absurd prices? And the worst thing is they keep buying it all instantly, so the price isn't gonna drop.

Easy. Just wait 6 months. Panic will be over, and supply pipeline will refill.
Academy has ammo here but is limiting handgun ammo to just one box per customer. I didnt even bother the ask the price and walked out. One of the local gun stores is fully stocked but is way over priced. $39.99 for a 50 count box of 9mm american eagle. But then again this store was way overpriced before all this happened.
That is why they still have stock lol.
