Ammo

    I bought a m&p 40 and i am looking to buy ammo for it but I am not sure what the best for the range would be I am looking and either federal champion , American eagle , or Remington I use Remington in my 9mm any thoughts I could use a helpful person

    I used lawman tmj at the range I used to go to that required a tmj. Now I shoot winchester white box or American eagle. Never had a problem with any of them but the lawman does cost a tiny bit more.

    if you are using the ammo to practice with for SD, use the same bullet weight as your SD ammo. try any of the major ammo makers as their ammo is usually been tried and tested and should function fine in your gun. if it's just a range gun, then buy whatever in bulk gives you the best accuracy in a fmj bullet.

    Normally I just buy WWB/Fed Champion at Walmart. But right now there's also some excellent deals on 40sw worth checking out on SGAmmo.

    Any of the ammo you listed would be fine for range use. SD ammo is where you need to be more selective.
