Just wondering if anyone has been to a recent gun show in the northeast and what 9mm pistol ammo is going for. I live in PA and there are a few shows coming up but they are about a 2-3 hour drive. Thought I'd ask before wasting the trip. I just ordered a box of 50 rounds for 29.99 plus 9.99 shipping for a total of about $40! I hoping the prices at the shows are better.

Don't have an answer but tagging along to find out. I'm all out of 9mm other than my Speer HD rounds that I won't be plinking with.

Lately I haven't seen any deals on ammo at gun shows. In fact they usually have folks that buy up stocks at other stores and charge more than retail. Lots of schiesters at gun shows who want to turn a quick buck in the remains of the ammo panic.

Used to gun shows were where you found the deals. Not so much anymore -- a lot of time prices are higher than in retail stores.

We are in AZ and they are robbing people out here in the Wild West! BUT if you are early and/or lucky you can get some at normal prices. Went to Bass Pro to browse, saw alot of 5.56 (50 cents a round) and were ready to leave and out comes the manager with a cart full of ammo. Got .22LR for 2.00 for 50 rounds of Thunderbolt (our Beretta Neos eats this like candy) and 9mm FMJ Federal (no limit) for 17.00 a box for 50 rounds. WOO!

Not bad deals in today's climate. Not quite at prepanic prices, but much better than what I would pay in my parts.
