Okay, so people understand that the government may or may not "ban" certain weapons.

Nobody has mentioned the idea of the government "banning" ammunition. An appeasement to the U.N. sanctions could be that sales of ammunition used by military gets "banned" (30-06, 9mm, 7.62X51, .45ACP, or .22lr). Some countries all ready have that in place.

Circumventing the banning of firearms, this would seriously hinder access and usage of many firearms.

Do you feel this could be a possibility and how caan we prevent that?

It is prevented by voting them out of office and out of the country.

Ted Kennedy and others have mentioned banning ammo or limiting sales for permit-holders only. This would be a de facto restriction on firearms. People won't stand for it.

I hope your right bkt. However, who among us thought that we would see the day when a law would be passed such as NDAA.

Think for yourselves and don't go with the flow. If we allow ourselves to be disarmed, no matter the method, then we deserve what we get.

I did not say ban all ammo, only those calibers that are or have been used by the military.
Look at Mexico. That explains why the .38 Super has a larger following there than here.

With the U.N. "pact" on small arms, that could be the goat offered.

Yes, so why did they put the language about being able to arrest, detain, without any right to a lawyer. ?

They could very easily ban all ammo and reloading supply's . And they can say we are not going against the your 2nd amendment rights cause you still have your firearms. It could happen. WE NEED TO VOTE ! And get these SOBs out of office

Vote! Vote! Vote! Lets just hope we can get enough people on our side this time. People are oblivious to what is really going on and what might happen in the next 4 years if he stays around for a next term.
