I have not, but I heard this was coming out. All I can say is that if it's anything like their GSG-5, which you've already heard me rant about (and which I just completed a very favorable review of in an upcoming magazine), it'll be just great. I mean, you know, the whole German engineering thing and whatnot. ;)

This very dangerous weapon is not approved for sale in Calif.

My Smith and Wesson in 45 is ok, but not this evil 22!!!

They must have sold their entire first shipment. They took my order and $!

    Here's some pics from SHOT:

The gun is said to have the heft and feel of the 45 ACP 1911.

This just may be the top dog of fun guns!

    Film at 11:00.

    Just got my GSG-1911.

    This gun is awesome!

It's going to the range tomorrow and I'll have a report soon.

I had to wait 1 year and 15 days to get her but it looks like it was worth the wait!

They are now in stock and only $283.20:

    Barrel at muzzle. notice anything?

Yep, threaded, and today at the gun shop we installed a Sig Mosquito barrel adapter and then put a can on this baby!

I didn't have my camera with me so I will go back and get some photos. It looks bad-azz with the can!!

    Very nice acquisition canebrake!

I handled one at the gunshow last weekend & agree that it seems to be of quality construction. The trigger felt pretty good for a new gun.

I have a feeling my Mosquito thread adapter will be residing on a new host shortly.

After break in, I'd be curious to see if it cycles subsonic ammo with the suppressor?

The Sig adapter will require some modification to clear the barrel bushing allowing the slide to return to battery. (Slight mod)

I'm sure GSG has, or soon will have the can adapter available.

Damn can will cost twice as much as the gun with tax stamp!

Yea, like thats gonna' stop me!

The gun is stamped .22LR HV and I bet it will require the HV ammo to cycle the slide. A little spring tweaking should tune it to the sub-sonic.

    Stay tuned, film at 11:00.

Sooo, did we have a range report elsewhere... trigger, groups??

Really interested to see if that sweet pup will shoot with the MkIIIs or maybe challenge a 41.
    Wouldn't THAT be something.

Just bought one yesterday for $295 from my local guy that does anything and everything at cost + $10. But you're right, anywhere else I look, it's $329.
