Just wanted to pass on my experience with Altamont Grips to my fellow forum members. I was looking to replace my factory grips on my S&W 642 and a Rossi 357 with some nice wooden grips. I came across Altamont Grips on another forum and gave them a try, especially since they were made in America. I have purchased other grips from Thailand which worked perfectly for my Sig P238. Okay the issue is my order was completely wrong and trying to work with Altamont's customer service to get my order correct was EXTREMELY PAINFUL. I AM COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW I WAS TREATED AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND YOU PURCHASING FROM THEM IMHO. If others have experienced differently please chime in!

WestTexas, just a quick followup. I finally received my complete refund on 1/17. I hope your experience is better than mine. I always want to support USA made products but if the service is terrible then I dont feel so loyal.

That's terrible. They make some good looking grips too. Thanks for the heads up.

Got mine in today. Reasonable delivery time and they got the grips right. Although they don't fit the original grip screw and didn't come with one. Ill head to the local gunsmith rather than try to get a screw from them.
