A friend wants me to go hunting with him this march or sometime soon.

What is in season in March?

Just curious so I know what firearm to bulk up on training with.

I not sure but I would probably guess you might shoot some pigs. If you get a chance to go hog hunting, I'd go for it. I had a blast chasing hogs with dogs in Tenn. Good table fare also. You can also go on-line and check the Alabama Department of Tourism's website. Good stuff there. HJ

Coyotes are always in season as are hogs.

Turkey season,12 gauge shotgun and some num. 4s or 6 shotshells.

Nothing that is protected in on the hunting schedule, nothing worth hunting that is, besides March is time to be slinging a plastic worm in alabama. And yes, I'm a 40 year gulf coast resident of LA (lower alabama).
