Just started shooting and buying guns/ammo a year ago, got AR-15s (son and myself) for Christmas. Bought 2500 rounds of 223 from AIM as suggested by someone on another forum. This is N.Dak, so not shot yet. We want to order another 1500 rounds but thought I'd do some googling of AIM 223 ammo experiences----there were a few complaints about some AIM bulk ammo buys. This is the "manufactured for Dept of Defense by U.S. manufacturer, $169 per500 brand. Just checked 50 rounds for defects, 2 of 50 bullets were noticeably crooked, not a big deal. Wolf is cheaper, anyone bought either of these brands or have recomendation.

I have had very good luck with Aim. The ammo you bought is stuff that did not pass Gov't inspection but should be fine for general usage.
