Ok. After finding out who shaves whom, and what they use, do any of you self shavers use an apres scent? Or do you just go gorilla?

Nah. Atmosphere contaminant on a submarine. And strong scents can make nauseous patients even more nauseous. Cold water after the shave.

    Dig the Dr. Strangelove reference.

I might go classic vanilla or original Brut or Caesar's. Depends what I'm doing and if I want to smell fatherly or not.

Bacardi 151. Strong and goes away in minutes. When someone on the job tells me I smell good, I know the truth - too much perfume. So punted it.

I would have to shave first to be concerned about after shave. I pretty much wear a beard year round.

I have a collection of about 30 or so different aftershaves. I am also a member of a shaving forum and most of the guys there, including myself, prefer the cheaper drug store/grocery store aftershaves such as Aqua Velva, Skin Bracer, Brut, Old Spice, Clubman, and the cheaper store brand copies.

    Pinaud? Brut? Ceasers Man?
Good Gods, man! What are doing to yourself?
The Pinaud I can understand, barber's force it on you but who ever forced the other two on you? :D
Ceasers Man? If you don't speak fluent Latin, you're in big trouble, buddy.

Used to set up ring and pinion gear sets for customers back in the 1970's. The smell of 90 wt. Hypoid gear oil and sweat literally turned my wife into a sexual tyrannosaurus rex.

Need to bottle that scent for aftershave. :D

Did this phrase not scare you all? I must have missed something because I have no idea who shaves whom.

I am a random shaver! I only do it when I have something special happening or get too shaggy. 21 years of shaving daily and haircuts every couple weeks has caused me to rebel now that I dont have to do it. It took some getting use to but Ive grown into that fine (Wife doesnt concur but I dont tell her how to maintain so she mostly doesnt tell me). I do use stinky stuff even if I dont shave, I work for a living and by the end of the day, probably the Stinky stuff helps me not offend others!

I no longer shave my face, but when I did, I just used alcohol and witch hazel. I still do occasionally rub it on my face and into my beard, simply because I like the smell.
