Welcome to FTF. :)
Made in Kentucky is all i can tell you, as you probably already know. Sorry i have no other information for you, others here will most likely have more information. I will say this; Buy one before this year is over, shoot it, buy ammo, buy more ammo, and then continue to shoot it. Do not think twice about the purchase of a quality AR-15. Best of luck to you and God bless.

I bought one on Friday. My brother is trying to teach about AR-15's. He has a Colt, he looked over the Accurate Tool and did some research on them. He seemed impressed. He said it was all mil spec and that the feed ramps looked really good. Whatever that means, I'm sure I will learn over time what that means. I just trying to get some other people's opinions on them. One of the main reasons I bought was because its made in Kentucky. I live in Kentucky and I thought that was pretty cool.

Got a link to the AR you bought? I'd compare their specs to Colt or even those guys from South Carolina who make a fine AR (PSA).

Yes, it has Daniel Defense chrome lined barrel. 1/7 twist. I'm guessing that's a good thing? I'm sorry for my stupidity on this subject, but please remember I'm still learning.

Yes that's a very good thing! And it's cold hammer forged, another very good thing. I would like to see more specs but that's promising. I'm now thinking it's probably a quality rifle. Odds are a high quality barrel points to overall high quality.

What profile barrel did you get? I have a DD upper receiver with their midlength pencil barrel. Great upper.

Anyway, more specs, and pics would be good too. I honestly don't know much about them but your brother may be right that they're nearly milspec. Maybe he can help you get more info posted?

Anyway, leaning towards a thumbs up on the new Kentucky Rifle.

See guys, I don't alway trash a new rifle! :D

BTW, BB check out Agent Tikki's AR-15 Primer sticky. Very informative.

And another thing you mentioned that is very good: properly done M4 feed ramps. Yeah we're gonna need some good pictures!
