So I was reading a tread where a Guy wanted to modify his glock and someone. I can't recall who but they suggested that he fill in the engravments with white crayon. So I tried with red and it came out pink haha. I wanted a neon green but I only had baby blue and white so I wen with white. I like it tell me what you all think

Looks quite fine to me! I like that kind of stuff, makes the markings "pop"

I was wondering if a paint marker would last longer? Ive seen some pretty sweet colors but never tried it.

That does sound better. It took a few trys with the crayon cause chunks kept coming out

Oh, come now! While they may have their shortcomings, the crayon should not be knocking chunks out of the Glock.

A colored pencil.......... maybe. But not crayons. :p

I meant the crayon keep breaking in chunks when I would scrap the access crayon on the out side. Not chunks from the glock

I did the same thing with my mosin nagant. I heated the metal with a cigarette lighter and then rubbed in the crayon. The hot metal softens the crayon.

That looks pretty sharp. I think I've even seen some people use finger nail polish.

Wouldn't that kinda stick to the metal a little? Or oil the outside first. That would be a good idea. Man things people come up with right?

That's exactly why I used crayon. I couldn't paint or use anything with a slight permanent stick

I used navy blue finger nail polish on mine. Put it on in big blobs over where you want to fill in. Let dry an hour. Then use a rag and nail polish remover to take off excess polish leaving only the engraved marking filled in.
