I had to go to the emergency room today because I was unable to stand due to the pain.
Come to find out I have a Kidney stone. I have a high tolerance for pain, but that was like nothing I have ever felt.

Ouch! I knew a guy at work that had the same problem. I couldn't believe he came to work. I saw him a couple of times almost go down because of the pain. I hope it passes quickly for you. I will say a prayer for you.

Are they trying to break it up with ultrasound. Or just Alpha Blockers, Phenazopyridine, pain meds to let you pass it.

Are they having you pee thru a screen so they can catch the little bugger. Then they do the lab work, and tell you what you shouldnt be eating.

One of the most common causes we have been seeing lately is non dairy creamer. That stuff gets packed in there like concrete. Have to bust it up with ultrasound, and catheter for about 2 weeks.

I went through that a about three or four months ago. Because they wanted to go up through the plumbing and laser the stone instead of using ultra sound (something about it's position in the urinary tract) I held out three weeks trying to get it to pass, but no avail. They had to rotor rooter.

I don't like thinking about it.

The whole experience was no fun at all.

Another no-no is creatine. Alot of body builders (and Jersey Shore cast members...lol) take the stuff on a daily basis for years. almost always results in Kidney Stones.

I took it in large quantity for a long time. Around 6 years??? I'm thankful then I never got one.
Don't want some rotor rooter going up the wang.
