I just watched Winchester '73 and thought it was pretty good..
It made me like my 1895 a bit more and now I want a 1873....
Seems like I may have picked up another expensive hobby....
    Vintage Winchesters .... :(

You could pick up a replica of the Winchester 1873 made by Uberti, but they too are fairly expensive. If you wanted to go cheaper than that and pick up a replica of the 1892 Winchester Rossi makes them, but I don't know much about Rossi and if they're any good.

I already have a 1895 thats pre-1900, the same would have to apply to the 1873.

I can understand that. I'm the same way about Springfield Trapdoors . Kind of off topic, but I've noticed that original Springfield Trapdoors sell less than reproductions do. That doesn't make much sense to me.
