America's LAST WWI Vet has passed away in West Virginia.

America's Last WWI Veteran Dies - West Virginia Headline News and Talk Radio

This man at the age of 16 lied to go protect his and others country from Evil. How many 16 year olds of today would do that?

It amazes me and makes me sad that we do not have a National WWI memorial we have a WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, and they are gunning for a memorial for the current war/wars.

    ...........Order Arms!

    Thank you Mr. Frank Buckles!

"He'd dedicated much of his time toward efforts to build a memorial in Washington to honor the five-Million Americans who served in World War I. Sadly, as he died, the legislation to commission the memorial is stalled in Washington with the support largely of only US Senator Jay Rockefeller and Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito."

A Moment of Silence is more than deserved for this great man and the others like him.

The "younger" generation just does not have the grit that these men and women had.

    Thank all of you.

A moment of Silence Observed with a tear in the eyes!
It is always very personal moment when one of our warriors has crossed the River after playing such an important part in history assuring our Freedom. God Bless Frank Buckles for his exemplary service in that time when most today would never understand. Lest we never forget the price of Freedom!
May he rest in peace in the presence of God and the Heroes who have traveled the road before him!
