I got a Canik TP9SF on Monday. The rain stopped long enough for me to get out to the range with it.
The Canik is a full sized pistol, about the same size as a Glock 17. I like the feel of the grips alot more then the Glock, and the price is alot easier on my meager budget.
I had 150 rounds, 50 Independence, 50 Magtech, and 50 Tulammo, all 115gr FMJ. The Canik shot all flawlessly. At first I shot a little left of center, (like some politicians), but I corrected my hold and did better after awhile. I only had small peel and stick targets, but I put some holes in them. I shot at steel targets too and hit pretty well.
Mags were easy to load, they are 18rd Mecgar mags. The gun comes with 2, I got a 3rd mag to go with it.
All in all, it's a nice gun. They have a reputation for being well made. I think I'm going to enjoy this one.
