Whats the highest to lowest grains 9mm ammo can have?
If you are asking about bullet weights, the lightest factory load I know of
uses a 85 grain bullet. Heaviest commonly available is probably 147 grain.
In the 9mm luger bullets heavier than the 147gr would encroach on the powder capacity. In fact I don't recall there being a subsonic (as the 147gr. load is sometimes called) being availible before the nine came into vogue in the 80's. I feel the 115-125gr bullets fullfill any use you could find for the 9mm. Lately I've been using pulled Israli 115gr bullets that were availible at Midway for a few pleasant afternoons bonding with my CZ75.
