Hi point 9mm carbine 995t. Thats the newest model. Its gonna run you about $250-$300 completely decked out with toys. Its a very good gun for the money. I hqd an older version and loved shooting it. Its good for about a hhundred yards. Uts hard to get it apart though it comes with its own tool to disasemble. If you do buy one make sure you buy it from the website or else your probably gonna over pay. Plus theres a lot of customizing to be done online if you dont want the crude iron sitghts.

Ya thats was the reason i got it. I could spend a hole day at the range with that and my .22 for around 20 bucks.

I have one of the new ones in 9mm with a red dot, I have to say its a fun little gun. It shoots well, there's almost no recoil, and for its price, it's surprisingly accurate. Also, no matter where you get it, it comes with a lifetime warranty from Hi-Point. If you're conscious about where you're stiff comes from too, it's made in the USA

Can't really go wrong for that price! Any other 9mm cravings are gonna run u alot more like the beretta storm (that's an awesome shooter) or u could go mid range with kel-tec they have a 9mm carbine that folds in half thats a nice one too

As much as "gun snobs" look down on all Hi-Point products, the reviews on this weapon are generally good. The 9mm shot out of this gun is about as effective as a .30 cal. carbine. Hi-Point's warranty reputation is very good as well.

Not everone can afford a tricked-out AR type weapon, this is a good choice for someone on a budget. (I want one of the .45s)

I agree, i would rather buy a cheaper gun that works and has good CS then spend 1k+ for a gun that has constant FTF and terrible CS.. Hi Point actually cares about the customers, some just care about money and getting the product out the door.

Since when did wanting quality make people snobs?

I was agreeing with the Hi Point being a good little gun for the money and that they have good CS and a great warranty.

Correct. I was referring to the guys snob comment. It gets old hearing that same stuff over and over.

I have no personal experience but it was a riot when the want to be gangsta came in the range talking about shooting his "nine Milly" high point. The entire place screached to a hualt.

Hi points are just cheap. For the money, they are amazing. While they are no Colt, I dare you to find a firearm company as willing to bend over backwards for you. I would dare to guess that Hi-Point will grow in price as they become more widely accepted.

They eat any ammo I have ever fed them

Never had a jam or ftf

Customer service is the best in the industry that I have ever seen or heard

Price should not be the defining factor in whether a gun is worth a damn. Will it consistently go bang, hit the target and be backed by it's makers... Yes

I've had several 9MM carbines. My favorite, by far, is the Sterling.

It's a civilian version of one of the finest submachine guns ever made. The British sterling.

I have put quite a few rounds downrange with the Sterling SMG, and when I saw a semi auto version available, I grabbed it instantly. It's turned out to be a teffiric shooter.:D

Will these 9mm carbines use my model 92s clips? I know the kel tec sub 2000 will and that's obviously key for me. One round for two guns makes a lot of sense.

About the gun snob comment; the internet is a hard cold place for people with sensative feelings.

Some of us get tired of hearing every black man with a firearm called a gansta or a thug, over and over, but I don't whine about it.:)

And I get tired of people assuming things. The kid was white, grossly under educated, and was without a doubt a wanna be thug/gangster who thought he was something else with his "nine", his words.

I had my 9MM carbine out to the range today, second time out with it. 32 degree temps killed my red dot sight, so I flipped up the Magpul MBUS. I just put the back up sights on a few weeks ago and never used them. This was the result of 40 shots @ 25 yards in < 1 minute. Cheap 124 grain Blazer ammo from Dick's.
