Do you think there would be any problem shooting Winchester 124gr. NATO 9mm in my 1981 Hi Power? I have a bunch, but don't want to stress the pistol. Thanks.

BTW, I won't be shooting any +P of any type.

i doubt it. 1981 manufacture is modern make. i tend to stay away from +P ammo even in guns the manufacturer says its ok.

1981 is OLD? I have UNDERWEAR older than that!!!! :D

I am shooting one Hi Power with NAZI markings. No, the NATO load is not goig to hurt your Browning. I avoid +P loads in just about anything due to increased wear and tear on the shooter.

Thanks gents, I was concerned. Old in this case is relative. I just don't want to mess that beauty up.

    And I was born in 1950. ;)

I've regularly shot the NATO 9mm in mine with no problem.

I've even shot Buffalo Bore's 9mm Luger +P+ Ammo with no ill effect.

Buffalo Bore 9mm Luger +P+ Ammunition

My range ammo is target load LRN but I carry Buffalo Bore +P+ 115 gr. Jacketed Hollow Point(1,400 fps/500 ft.lbs.) That's .45ACP level power.
