New to the forum and new to the gun world. Just purchased a Remington 700 7mm 08. Was wondering do they make fmj rounds for target shooting ? If so where could I purchase ?

Because the 7mm-08 was never a military cartridge, no one makes FMJ ammo for it. It is a hunting cartridge and you should use SP or HP ammo.

I have been looking for 7mm FMJ projetilesfor a project, but have not found any. You used to be able to find Spanish military surplus 7 X 57 FMJ ammo, but it appears to have dried up.

If anyone has access to .284 diameter FMJ's, I would love about 50 of them.

Even if you could get them FMJ bullets are not target bullets. In the calibers they do exist they are one of the least accurate bullets made. They are generally "plinking' or "blasting" bullets, not target quality.

If you want a "target" bullet look the the bullets designed for accuracy, Sierra MK etc.

Well not exactly. There is no reason an FMJ is less accurate than any other bullet made. It is just that almost all FMJ's are Military grade and made to less exacting tolerances than match or hunting grade bullets.

Case in point; the M-118 172 gr FMJ match load for the 7.62 X 51 M-21
