...watching Dual Survival!!! She still watches My Little Pony, Charlie and Lola, Avatar, etc. but she now talks about water disinfection, shelter building, fire starting, food hunting & preparation etc. I just need to show her how it is really done and get her some practice.

I am very proud of her. :)

I think that is fantastic. I am proud of her and you! "Great Kid!" If we could get the kids interested in the outdoors and off the computers in their rooms. Their life would be much more fulfilled and diverse. And for sure the obesity the government always complains about would not be as bad today!!!!
My Granddad always said! Show me a young person who loves the outdoors, fishing and hunting and I will show you a young person that probably will never be in any serious trouble. Thank God for Granddad! He instilled the love for the outdoors, wildlife, fishing and hunting for me! Life would have been a boring and dull existence without the experiences I have had should I have not had the privilege and guidance!

LOL. Both of them have their (drama) moments but they both have things to teach/share. All in all, I think they are much better than the other survival shows.
